There are a number of Willistown Township volunteer boards and committees that serve as environmental stewards of our community. There is a direct correlation between the heath of a region's environment and the quality of life of it's inhabitants, people and critters alike.

The Willistown Township Recycling Committee is currently composed of seven members. The committee's objectives are to convince all residents, both home and business based, of the benefits of recycling through informative articles in the Willis Towne Crier and special recycling events such as our annual drop-off of bulk items, paper shredding, video/audiotape and DVD recycling. The committee continues researching other opportunities to recycle hard-to-recycle household and commercial property items.
